Emergency Teaching License Request for Initial Teacher Licensure Program Information Form


             


    Do you hold an emergency teaching license and you'd like to move forward with earning your initial teaching license? Would you like to work towards earning your master's degree at the SAME time?

    At Fitchburg State University, we offer flexible, online (with limited synchronus meeting times) graduate program options that enable you to work towards your initial teaching license.

    Program options include:
    • M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education (initial licensure for grades PreK-2nd)
    • M.Ed. in Elementary Education (initial licensure for grades 1-6)
    • M.Ed. in Education 5-12 (initial license in concentration content areas listed below) 
      • Biology 8-12
      • English 5-12
      • General Science 5-8
      • History 5-12
      • Mathematics 5-8
      • Mathematics 8-12
      • Technology Engineering 5-12
    • Special Education (initial license in concentration areas listed below)
      • Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities PreK-8
      • Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities 5-12
      • Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities
      • Reading Specialist
